From the end of May to the beginning of June this year, Jilin Province was affected by the northeast cold vortex weather system for a long time. In the last half month of May 25th-26th, 29th-30th and June 3rd-6th, it experienced three alternating cold vortex weather processes. The continuous entry of cold air, coupled with good humidity conditions, led to a wide range of obvious rainfall weather processes in Jilin Province, which also lowered the temperature.
