Sales of colorful buns surge ahead of Spring Festival in N China

With Spring Festival just a few days away, sales of huamo, a traditional food in northern China, have surged in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province. Local bakers have been very busy, using scissors, combs, knives and other tools to create the beautiful designs. The huamo, or "flower bun" in English, is a steamed bun with colorful patterns.
