Fishing, Hunting festival opens at Chagan Lake

　　The 23rd Ice and Snow Fishing and Hunting Cultural Tourism Festival opened on December 28th at Chagan Lake in Songyuan city, Jilin province, where numerous tourists gathered to witness the grand spectacle of winter fishing.

　　Chagan Lake is the largest natural lake in Jilin, which has abundant fish resources. It is renowned for preserving the primitive fishing method of northern China's ethnic groups. The traditional winter fishing of Chagan Lake has been included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
