Chagan Lake winter fishing, a world natural wonder

  On the morning of December 18th, fishermen cast the first net of this winter's ice fishing on the frozen surface of Chagan Lake, marking the beginning of this year's ice fishing season.

  The 2024 Chagan Lake Ice and Snow Fishing and Hunting Cultural Tourism Festival will officially open on December 28th, offering visitors a richer "ice and snow tourism" experience by innovatively integrating cultural projects and sports events.

  Songyuan City will also host a series of ice sports events, including snow soccer, "slide down on the ice," and "spinning ice tops," around the 11th National Mass Ice and Snow Season Jilin branch activities, as well as the first Jilin Province Mass Ice and Snow Games and the Chagan Lake Winter New Energy Vehicle Ice Challenge.
